We work with companies in the Dominican Republic that have hit the limits of standard software: processes living in spreadsheets, data duplicated across systems that do not talk to each other, or business rules no market product anticipates. When a process does fit an existing product, we say so: in those cases the right answer is usually an Odoo implementation rather than building from scratch.

Discovery and functional design

Before any code, we document the process as it actually happens: who does what, with which data, in what order, and where it breaks down. Scope comes from that, not from a generic feature list.

We define how information is structured, what integrates with your existing systems and what has to grow later. This decision determines whether the system lasts three years or has to be rebuilt.

Frequently asked questions

It depends on scope, on how many integrations are involved and on how much business logic sits behind it. We estimate in phases: first we narrow the problem and define a minimum scope that solves the main case, and we quote on that. Replacing one spreadsheet and connecting four departments to the ERP are not the same order of magnitude.

A first useful version in production is usually measured in weeks or a few months, not years, because we deliver in cycles and prioritise what solves the main problem. Total time depends on the agreed scope and on your team's availability to validate each delivery.

If a market product covers the process without forcing it, SaaS is usually the better decision: lower upfront cost and vendor-maintained. Custom development earns its place when the operation has rules no product anticipates, when several in-house systems must be integrated, or when per-user licence costs grow faster than the business. We assess that with you before proposing to build.

Yes. We integrate with ERP and CRM systems (Odoo included), databases, cloud services, third-party platforms and legacy systems, through available APIs or whatever interface each system exposes. Where a system has no documented integration, we review it first and tell you what is feasible before committing scope.

Yes. The usual path is not a full rewrite at once: we analyse the system in use, isolate the critical modules and replace them in stages, keeping the operation running throughout the transition.

That is an architecture decision taken at the start. We define the data model and structure with more users, more volume and features that do not exist yet in mind, and leave the code documented so the system can keep evolving.
